I have cooked and canned (1/2 pints) with this pressure cooker and got good results. I prefer to cook with stainless steel instead of aluminum, and I found this one at a good price on Amazon. I also have a 21-qt pressure cooker, but it is nice to use this smaller cooker for regular meals or very small canning batches. The pressure cooker washes up nicely and looks similar to my regular stainless steel cookware set. I hope these new pressure cookers become more popular. I think it is a lost treasure in healthy cooking. -- Great for cooking and canning

Received the pressure cooker in a very timely manner. It was double packed which is unusual anymore and not damaged in any way. We're cooking with it already. I came with a nice little cookbook plus there are many, many recipes on the internet, of course, for pressure cookers. Our only regret is that the diameter is smaller than the old models so you can't brown very many pieces of meat at a time prior to the pressure cooking stage. Other than that, it works quite well. I like the cover lock/pressure indicator, which is a safety feature. -- Good purchase

I bought this pressure cooker and It is a pleasure to cook with. I use it mostly for unexpected family drop-ins. This way I can make a roast in record time and the cooker does all the work. Love it. -- Works just like they say.

I am extremely happy with the Presto Pressure Cooker. I am amazed at the improvements in the cooker from my Mother's old one. I had given up on this method of cooking until I finally tried this unit. It is easy, fast and the food is awesome. My only complaint is that it would have been nice if at least a small cook book had been provided with the cooker.
